something about LOOKING THROUGH

i am not a voyeur. not per se.
but i am a person who likes to LOOK THROUGH.
or THROUGH and INTO.

i like to look through the camera lens. i also like to look through windows and doors, making them frames for seeing life. and i also love REFLECTIONS: mirrors of things not seen directly.

all these aspects of PERCEPTION change how we see, what we see, if we see, when we see.

feeling contemplative, i offer a few small lens from Danmark (that's Danish for Denmark) in this evening's ELE JOU...

three colored cups

store window paper lampshade (late candidate for lighting fixture post)

paintings in blågårdsgade window

svane (danish for swan) window curtains

me and a noiseless typewriter

blue tree car rain

    1. melart - WHO ARE YOU? please divulge or hint... including - do we know each other?
      in other news,
Ann-Marie is 86 and the mother of my darling pal Martin Kløft. we visited her at the house where Martin lived his whole life until he left home. Martin's dad, who died last year, used to henna Ann-Marie's hair (she and i shared the red). now it is brilliant white and very healthy as is she.

  2. why do i imagine that if i were in ann-marie's wood-blinded house, i could get my most difficult work done?

on a 2nd point: i'd nominate the colored cups in the window as a quintessential lb foto.

    love.

    1. the work is always greener in the blinded house across the way. home always contains and proliferates obstacles that could never exist elsewhere. distractions. familiarities. to-do lists.
btw: ann-marie would be delighted to have you visit. of this i am sure.
      and
